+ The National Information Contact Point (NIP) on "City" (Urban research and Innovation)
The NIP City is a centralized information and animation point with three main objectives:
- Stimulating French actors to participate to the European programmes in the urban field
- Supporting French actors to participate to European programmes and calls by promoting
the defragmentation of actors and by developing an intersectoral and interprofessional
cooperation.
- Influencing programmes and upcoming calls for proposals by contributing to the elaboration
of French positions.

- Ministry of Ecology (MTES), Ministry of research and Innovation (MESRI), Commissariat General
for Equality of Territories (CGET);
- Representatives of the main urban stakeholders organisations and networks: research
organizations, universities, local authorities (Cities, Regions), companies (engineering, ICT), urban
planners.
