    2009 - 2014 Raw Material requirement planning for Blast Furnace and Sinter Plant. Working on economic analysis of Raw Materials (Iron Ore, PCI Coal, Coking Coal, Coke and fluxes) and logistics optimization to guarantee the synchronism between raw materials arrival, stock yards capacity and mill production (Blast Furnace, Coke Plant and Sinter Plant).

    Responsible for:
    • Blast Furnace burden calculation
    • Material Requirements Planning of Iron Ore and Fluxes.
    • Logistics of raw materials (Maritime, Rail and Road);
    • Vessels waiting line and Demurrage optimization;
    • Logistics synergy and increase of unload performance Projects (including New Crane);
    • Relationship with Port Authorities, maritime agents, stevedores, Sea Bulk (company responsible for the unloading process), AM Shipping (regarding to planning and vessel fixture) and AM Sourcing (regarding to quantities and availability of raw materials).

    Worked in the internal logistics, monitoring and auditing the rail system (railway, locomotives, hot-metal transfer car and slag wagon) and road system (trucks, excavators and power shovel), making the link between raw materials, slag, scrap and emergency yard

    Main results:
    • Learn the business and be expatriated to a French mill on the same function;
    • Learn and training the team on the new demurrage calculation system;
    • Follow up of the best practices of maritime discharging operations.
