As a freelance English trainer and training developer, I prepare classes for up to fifteen individual students per week, all of them from different backgrounds and experience, which neccesitates a certain level of organizational ability. This part of my job also requires me to listen to my students and adapt my courses to their needs and desires. I enjoy helping others take steps toward reaching their best potential, whether that be through teaching them new skills or even through simple encouragement.
The training development part of my business allows me to help companies develop internal training for their employees on various themes (intensive English courses, product knowledge, company orientations, etc). I work hand in hand with the company to discuss ideas, to create a structure for the training they want to provide, and to create teaching materials which are useful and interesting for the targeted audience.
I believe communication is an essential part of any work environment, and also that communication isn't just talking, but listening actively as well. Obviously it's important as a trainer to be able to communicate effectively, but it's also important to be able to transfer ideas both in written and spoken form to colleagues and associates, in order that collaborative projects run smoothly.
